WiRe To Host 3rd Annual Women’s Day Gala
Women in Reinsurance [WiRe] will host its third annual Women’s Day Gala on March 7, 2025, at the Hamilton Princess, featuring keynote speaker Sylvia Baffour and honoring the 2025 Woman of the Year.
A spokesperson said, “Women in Reinsurance [WiRe], announces its third annual Women’s Day Gala to be held on Friday, March 7th, 2025, at the Hamilton Princess and Beach Club. The event, which coincides with International Women’s Day, celebrates the role of women in Bermuda’s reinsurance industry and, as in prior years, will also honour a key contributor to the industry with the 2025 Woman of the Year Award. The Award commemorates a reinsurance professional that has made an outstanding contribution to both the success of her company and the ongoing development of other professionals.
“Keynote address will be given by Emotional Intelligence [EI] expert, Sylvia Baffour, author of I Dare You to Care and innovator of the Dare to CareTM EI Framework. Baffour has worked with several prominent organisations, such as The World Bank, to make EI a tangible tool for employees to use to navigate relationships and conflict, embrace change and enhance working environments.”
