Chamber Of Commerce Congratulates PLP
Chamber of Commerce President Marico Thomas congratulated the PLP on its success in the recent general election and also “congratulated the newly appointed Cabinet Ministers and all elected representatives as they take on the important responsibility of guiding Bermuda forward.”
A spokesperson said, “As the island’s leading business organization, the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce looks forward to working collaboratively with the new government to foster economic growth, strengthen the business community, and create opportunities for all Bermudians,” said Mr Thomas. “We remain committed to engaging in meaningful dialogue and initiatives that support a vibrant and sustainable economy.”
The spokesperson said, “The Chamber recognizes both the challenges and opportunities ahead and is eager to continue its partnership with the government to ensure Bermuda remains a competitive and prosperous place to live, work, and do business.”

Exactly. There should be no congratulations to the PLP, they beat a poor OBA with a massively split Independent vote.
