Alexcie Burrows Earns Pre-Season Honours
Bermudian tennis player Alexcie Burrows is among three Virginia State University [VSU] players named in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association [CIAA] All-CIAA pre-season women’s tennis team.
The announcement comes after the CIAA released its Women’s Tennis Predicted Order of Finish, with Burrows and her VSU team-mates tipped for a third-place finish this season.
Burrows posted an impressive 13-4 record in singles play last season.
She primarily competed at the No 5 position but also demonstrated her versatility with six appearances at No 4.
In doubles, Burrows had a 10-6 record while playing between the No 2 and 3 doubles spots.
