Jr Doubles Tennis Tournament Day 2 Results
The second day of the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s 2025 Junior Doubles Tournament at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium saw a flurry of action, with matches taking place across several age divisions.
The under-14 boys division was particularly busy, with three matches contested. Manuel Maldonado and Riley Maybury kicked things off with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 victory over Cayden Lee and Trystan Thompson. Julian Hands and Michael Mohipp then continued the trend of straight-sets wins, defeating Archer Green and Shane Reardon 6-1, 6-0.
Hands and Mohipp were back on court soon after and continued their winning streak, overcoming Maldonado and Maybury in another decisive 6-1, 6-0 victory.
In the under-18 boys doubles, Tobiah Goodchild and Zachary Mcguire proved too strong for Tristan Pettit and Jadon Spriggs, securing a 6-0, 6-3 win.
The under-14 mixed doubles also saw a straight-sets result, with Trystan Thompson and Chloe Mcbrearty defeating Manuel Maldonado and Arianna Parra Delgado 6-4, 6-1.
