Thank you. Lots if creative graphics and charts. First class.Well done.

  4. Snowballs says:

    Rat race…

    • Hmmm says:

      Interesting that PLP lost the
      Popular Vote

      • Eyes wide open says:

People either vote PLP or don’t vote at all. It says more about the UBP//oba but folks like you will try to spin it even when you keep losing.

      • PAC MAN says:

What can we expect will happen when our over seas students face un acceptable notoriety having being stripped and disenfranchised return home to express their views to fair Bermuda during their spring break ?

To hurt one, is to hurt all . Shame !

The 2025 election on air news report , heard of history being turned on it head in consolation for our over seas students .!

The O.B.A.’s memerable concession speech of the 2025 election delivered by their leader as he turned his cheek in remorce was nothing short heart felt eloquerence.

      • Unbelievable says:

Yup they certainly did not get the popular vote. That says it all. Far as I’m concerned, the PLP makes up an illegitimate government.

OBA, if you’re paying attention, You have to capitalize on this. You need to bring it up in the House and often. You took four seats from the PLP and the guy that defected to you, wasn’t punished. He kept his seat. Whoever does your messaging has it wrong because you lose the narrative all the time. The PLP controls it and that needs to be turned around.

Please have some fire in your belly in this parliamentary cycle.

  5. Nathalee Simons says:

And with the PLP ‘winning’ with about 50% voter turnout I challenge You all to take action NOW, action which, while taking account of present realities in Bermy, the TRUMP/MUSK effect and none the less constitutes clear and unmistakable progress, with Bermuda’s every Bermudian and Resident being the Priority..

    I’m holding a positive outlook.

    • I like that says:

You highlighted the issues. No mickey mouse magic wand. You are positive in spite of. I’d vote for you. I’m tired of the cry babies and why voter turn out was awful. You can’t make progress if you sit home firing missiles at the PLP and let your snowball melt. Be positive like you and things can get better. Have a blessed day.

  6. Roger says:

If the OBA had managed to combine with the independents and taken their votes – a big if….. but if they had, the result would have been 18-18 seats.

The very thing the FDM/Independents set out to do – unsettle the status quo, resulted in the exact opposite.

Time to unite, Bermuda isn’t big enough for a third, fourth party.

    • Triangle Drifter says:

There certainly is some meat on them bones.

There are areas where the OBA could have Jesus Christ himself representing them and the PLP could run a green rock and win. The people are so brainwashed they no longer think for themselves.

These are areas where the OBA was better off not having a candidate at all but endorsing the independent. Hell will freeze over before some PLP voters will swing to OBA, but they would vote for an independent.

  7. Mark says:

and 5 more years…i honestly cannot fathom how people keep voting against their own interests. i guess thats what happened in the US and we still cant figure that out so its happening here too. We really need to find out how to stop these corrupt governments getting elected.

    • Bright and Early says:

For sure and if more than 60% of our population voted this time maybe OBA would have gotten those extra 7 seats? Our people are discouraged and so they don’t vote but in order to make it more democratic then VOTE in the next election I am 76 years old but I am still able to go to the polls and vote and so I do. Hope in the next 5 years I am still able and I will vote the party I want.

  8. How did this happen says:

    52 52 52 52 52 52
The best writer and critical analyst of all time Rolfe Commissiong only got 52 votes.

Ouch. Look out for his next missile once he finds the ink bottle on shelf 52. Maybe he should take 52 seconds and turn right towards the North Pole. I can’t believe this.52.

As we say at #52 he was unfortunately not effective 52 times. Over and out #52.

  9. PAC MAN says:

In the next 5 year I will be 94 and most likely i will not be hear to shake your hands and congratulate you for restoring the island.
I hear the word, no ! virtually every day that never put bail on the hook

Where did this hope word come from ? Hope! never put butter on the bread !

Do you not know what a lame Duck Parliament / Goverment is it is a institution that’s no money is available to do things.
i see you all scrapping for one seat here and one seat there and going no where fast .

Are you any better off. I doubt that .

People , you need to put politics to one side an work together not for youselves but for the needs our island.
By living an existence of constant devision this island will suffer a miserable existence with our children paying the ultimate price.

We have to learn how to support our selves, my father told me “you are what you are gioing to be ” every day I try to prove him wrong .

No body is asking you to love one another, just get along.

Look for the good in people and the willing hands as our elderly have much to offer they will never let you down.
