OBA Leader: ‘Vote For A Better Bermuda’
“The One Bermuda Alliance has the team, the solutions and willingness, to get things turned around, and can start on day one,” OBA Leader Jarion Richardson said.
Mr Richardson said, “In less than 24 hours, we get to decide who will lead Bermuda for the next five years. That’s no small thing. Especially considering the challenges we face.
“We all know about the state of the roads, the backbreaking cost of living, the confusion around education reform and the healthcare system that seems to provide neither care nor health.
“We know about our increasing homelessness, our lack of housing and our food insecurity. We know about our stagnant wages, closing businesses and crime.
“We all know about the sense of apathy, reluctance and a lack of trust in politics, “more of the same”.
“We also know that problems do not fix themselves. We know that it is insane to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. And we know that these problems will remain so long as good people do nothing.
“I can assure you that good people have decided to act. Good people with vision and hope, relentless in effort, focused and determined.
“People who have a history of working on solutions before others even knew there was a problem.
“The One Bermuda Alliance has the team, the solutions and willingness, to get things turned around, and can start on day one.
“We will replace distrust, reluctance and apathy with hope, vision and initiative. We will respect your vote because we know that which we obtain too easily, is esteemed too lightly.
“We will respect your voice, not find ways to diminish it. We will build a government that you will be proud of, and that will fulfil the dreams of our forefathers and -mothers.
“Vote for a better Bermuda, vote for better politics, vote for inclusive solutions, vote for hope and change, vote for the One Bermuda Alliance.”

Now candidates such as Malachi Symonds, John Seymour, Marcus Jones, Montell Currin, Tarik Smith, Dion Smith, Deon Smith, Dwayne Robinson, Kellan Lewis, Rodrae Durrant and Carl Neblett can see the truth.
Same old UBP play style, use the Tokens and place the puppet masters in safe seats. After this election loss you men really need to think about starting your own political party.
The oba/UBP will dissolve again. If anynoe is considering voting for these clowns a vote for them is a wasted vote. Vote Independent, PLP or FDM.

I stopped by one of the oba’s rallies to listen to a pack house of supporters. Only 11 people showed up. Things are not looking good.
Yea the voters have no confidence in this weaker opposition.
They need a strong new leader. It’s the only way to move forward.
Maybe you can come up with a list of real accomplishments that the PLP have attained since 1998.Pledges, promises and announcements of committees formed to talk about stuff do not count.
Seen a balanced budget yet? Seen a reduction, even a plan for a reduction, of the debt yet? Seen a start on Swing or Causeway bridge replacement yet? Seen an end to the Grand Atlantic debacle yet? Seen a reduction in gun crime yet? Seen any real improvement in roads yet? Are the tow year overdue CCTV cameras operational yet? Where is that two year overdue asphalt plant?
You know that this list of PLP fails can go on and on. Why would anyone vote for more of the same? If you went to a restaurant and got bad service multiple times, would you continue to go back? No, of course you wouldn’t. That would be plain stupid. So, why would you vote for the same failure of a political party time after time? What does that make you?

Sorry, Jarion, but where has the OBA been throughout this election? The party had a great head start by rolling candidates I believe starting in 2023 and that was exciting but now you lot are NO WHERE. All I see are press releases. I’m in C8 and I’ve never seen my MP. Never. Like the entire time he’s been in the House.
The messaging is all wrong. In fact, it’s nonexistent. The OBA is not the UBP (those lot who say it is are dreaming) but you’re up against another relic of the past, the PLP. The PLP have nothing to say without “the struggle” they keep saying is caused by you. Take that away and the have nothing to say. The PLP have put us in this dire situation and the OBA are sitting around being polite about politics.
