The 2025 softball league season commenced with three games Tuesday night, resulting in over 80 combined runs. The tripleheader at Michael Preece Softball Diamond featured high-scoring contests, indicating a season focused on offensive production.

Fundamental Standpoints Defeat Killawhat 16-15

The opening game saw Fundamental Standpoints defeat Killawhat 16-15. Fundamental Standpoints’ Josh Allen went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Killawhat’s Jalani Richardson went 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs.

Pitch Invaders Beat Raggamuffins 22-5

In the second game, the Pitch Invaders defeated the Raggamuffins 22-5. Pitch Invaders’ Kijuan Butterfield went 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs. Travis De Sousa went 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Raggamuffins’ John Payne went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.

Team Smokey Win Over Bad News Beers 15-11

The final game featured Team Smokey defeating Bad News Beers 15-11. Team Smokey’s Deigo McCallan went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. Bad News Beers’ Cameron Neal went 4-for-4 with a double, two home runs, and five RBIs.
