43rd Annual Sports Awards Set For March 23
The 43rd Annual Sports Awards, celebrating Bermuda’s top athletes, coaches, and sports administrators, will take place on March 23rd at the Hamilton Princess.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Sport and Recreation is proud to announce the 43rd Annual Sports Awards, a prestigious evening dedicated to recognising the outstanding achievements of Bermuda’s athletes, coaches, and sports administrators. The event will take place on Sunday, 23rd March 2025, at 6:30 PM at the Harbourview Ballroom, Hamilton Princess and Beach Club.”
Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport Owen Darrell expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Sport plays an integral role in our society, uniting communities, fostering discipline, and inspiring excellence. The Annual Sports Awards allow us to recognise the hard work and dedication of our athletes and sports professionals, whose contributions elevate Bermuda’s sporting legacy. We encourage everyone to join us in celebrating their achievements.
“This highly anticipated celebration, themed “Rising to Greatness: Celebrating Excellence in Sport”, will shine a spotlight on the dedication, perseverance, and talent within Bermuda’s sporting community. It serves as an opportunity to honour those who have made remarkable contributions to sport, inspiring the next generation of athletes.”
