Bermuda Coders Launches New Animated Promo
Bermuda Coders has launched a new animated promotional video by Bermudian artist Tashel Bean which “showcases the opportunity for Bermudians to gain cutting-edge skills in artificial intelligence, data analysis, Android app development, and programming—all for free.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Bermuda Coders, the island’s groundbreaking free digital skills education programme, is celebrating the launch of a brand-new animated promotional video created by beloved Bermudian artist Tashel Bean. Known for his signature style and cultural references, Bean’s work is always eagerly anticipated, and this latest animation is no exception.
“The video highlights the wealth of opportunities available through Bermuda Coders, a programme made possible through a partnership between the Government of Bermuda and the United Arab Emirates via their Government Experience Exchange Office. It showcases the opportunity for Bermudians to gain cutting-edge skills in artificial intelligence, data analysis, Android app development, and programming—all for free.”
“This initiative is about equipping our people with the skills they need to thrive in a digital world,” said Minister of Economy and Labour Jason Hayward. “We want to ensure that everyone knows about the amazing opportunities Bermuda Coders offers, and this engaging animated video is a great way to spread the word and inspire more people to sign up.”
The Government spokesperson said, “Bermuda Coders is committed to fostering local tech talent and providing pathways to success in an evolving digital landscape. Whether individuals are new to AI, data analysis, or programming or are looking to advance their expertise, this programme offers a unique chance to learn, grow, and connect with a thriving community.
“The programme has attracted hundreds of registrants, with dozens having already completed tracks in AI, data analysis, programming, and app development. Each track takes 8 weeks to complete, and unsuccessful attempts cannot be retaken. Participants are advised to complete one track before registering for another to maximise their chance of success.
