Blake Montgomery Helps Knights Win Title
Blake Montgomery has helped the London Knights become the Ontario Hockey League [OHL] Western Conference regular season champions after defeating Guelph Storm 7-3 yesterday [March 11].
The Knights will head into the play-offs as the No 1 seed.
Montgomery has been in fine form since joining the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement in November last year.
Drafted by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Ottawa Senators in June, Montgomery has spent the past two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
The Knights are top of the Western Conference, having won 43 of their 62 matches.
