Erica Hawley Seventh in Triathlon Cup Miami
Erica Hawley finished an impressive seventh in the Americas Triathlon Cup Miami at the iconic Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida yesterday [March 28].
Hawley completed the draft legal sprint-distance race, which featured a one-lap 750-metres swim, a five-lap 20-kilometres ride and a two-lap five-kilometres run, in 56min 05sec.
Her splits were 10:00, 27:38 and 17:24.
Gwen Jorgensen, of the United States, won the race in 55:41, with Marcela Alvarez Solis, of Mexico, second in 55:45 and Danielle Orie, of the US, third in 55:55.
