Sean Trott and Christine Dailey raced to victory in the annual Lindo’s to Lindo’s 10K Run today [March 9].
Trott blazed through the course, from Lindo’s Family Foods in Warwick to Lindo’s Market in Devonshire, clocking a winning time of 34 minutes, 16.39 seconds. Dailey crossed the finish line in a swift 39 minutes, 27.98 seconds, securing the women’s title.
Thomas Mills secured second place in the men’s division with a time of 37 minutes, 00.43 seconds, followed closely by David Lunn in third at 37 minutes, 25.47 seconds. In the women’s race, Teresa Ruiz claimed runner-up honors in 42 minutes, 00.21 seconds, with Stepanka Sprincova taking third in 43 minutes, 07.23 seconds.
Jasmine Blair Majors led the pack in the Four-mile Competitive Walk, finishing in 38 minutes, 23.74 seconds. Sam Booth followed in second place at 39 minutes, 05.55 seconds, and Paul Haywood secured third in 40 minutes, 02.14 seconds.
The event, a popular fixture on the local racing calendar, saw participants of all ages and abilities take part, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bermuda Diabetes Association.
