Phoebe Hughes’ Art Featured At Meritus
Bermudian artist Phoebe Hughes has shared her pride in having her artwork featured at Meritus Trust’s 15th-anniversary celebrations last week.
The London-based artist took to social media to express her gratitude, writing: “Very grateful to have my art featured at the Meritus Trust’s 15th Anniversary celebration yesterday!
“It’s always so nice seeing my work in different spaces outside of the studio, especially when older and newer paintings are combined.”
Hughes, known for her vibrant and expressive pieces, held her first solo exhibition, Bermudiana, in 2022 at the Rick Faries Gallery within the Masterworks Museum.
The show featured 14 of her paintings, celebrating the essence of Bermuda’s landscapes and culture.
