Harmony Birth Services announced the “expansion of its care team and the launch of a new Fertility Awareness program, deepening its commitment to holistic, client-centered support for individuals and families across the reproductive continuum.”

A spokesperson said, “Founded in 2009 by Feven Binega-Northcott, Harmony Birth has become a trusted space for perinatal education and support in Bermuda. Rooted in values of compassion, informed choice, and connection, the practice provides a full spectrum of care including doula support, childbirth education, lactation counseling, and now, fertility awareness education.

“We are very excited to welcome two exceptional women to the Harmony Birth team, whose passion and experience will strengthen our community offerings.

“Rita Stevens, affectionately known as ‘Nurse Rita,’ brings over 47 years of nursing experience, with a rich background in labor and delivery and long-standing service as an office nurse alongside local OB/GYNs. As a certified childbirth instructor and lactation educator, Rita has dedicated her career to empowering families with knowledge and heartfelt support.

“Morgan Hopkins joins as a Postpartum Support Practitioner, drawing from her formative experiences of pregnancy and birth in the Netherlands, where postpartum doula care is standard for every family. Morgan brings fresh, innovative ways to reimagine postpartum care infused with the tried-and-true traditions of nurturing new families.”

“Rita has nurtured a generation of families—including myself—and it is an absolute treat to have her on board,” said Feven  Binega-Northcott. “We are so lucky to have Morgan with us—her grounded presence and thoughtful, affirming approach embody the kind of care every family deserves,”

With this expanded team, Harmony Birth is also thrilled to introduce the Wise Cycles Fertility Awareness Program. This personalised and inclusive offering supports women in understanding their cycles, optimising hormonal health, and making empowered choices about conception or contraception and hormonal health. Whether you’re planning for pregnancy, coming off hormonal birth control, or simply curious about your body’s rhythms, Wise Cycles offers practical education rooted in body literacy and respect.

“We believe that informed, respectful care should be accessible at every stage—from menstruation to menopause, from birth to postpartum and beyond,” said Feven Binega-Northcott. “This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to that vision.”
