Video: Caitlyn Bobb Wins 400M At ACC
Bermudian sprinter Caitlyn Bobb achieved a significant victory at the Atlantic Coast Conference [ACC] Outdoor Track & Field Championships, winning the gold medal in the women’s 400 meters.
Representing Virginia Tech, Bobb set a new program record and Bermuda national record during the event. After establishing a new national record of 51.57 seconds in the preliminary round, surpassing her previous record of 51.84 seconds set in June 2022, Bobb ran even faster in the final.
She secured the individual title by finishing in 51.11 seconds, more than half a second ahead of her competitors. This time further lowered the national record by 0.46 seconds from her preliminary performance.
