Global Atlantic Opens New Bermuda Office
Global Atlantic has expanded its Bermuda office in Washington House in Hamilton, with the company saying “the expansion further reinforces Global Atlantic’s commitment to Bermuda, where the firm has significantly grown its local presence.”
A spokesperson said, “Global Atlantic Financial Group, a leading insurance company meeting the retirement and life insurance needs of individuals and institutions, today announced a strategic expansion of its Bermuda office into a new, state-of-the-art facility at Washington House, located on Church Street in Hamilton. The move marks a major milestone for the company’s continued growth and investment in the island.
“The new office space, which more than triples Global Atlantic’s previous footprint to over 15,000 square feet, offers a modern and collaborative work environment. Key features include open-concept workspaces, a lounge area and an outdoor patio designed to foster collaboration, creativity and productivity.
“The expansion further reinforces Global Atlantic’s commitment to Bermuda, where the firm has significantly grown its local presence. The team now includes nearly 60 employees, with headcount doubling over the past two and a half years and increasing by 30% in the last 18 months alone. This strong foundation has been instrumental in driving Global Atlantic’s growth. Today the firm manages approximately $190 billion of insurance liabilities, the majority of which resides in Bermuda.”
