Adam Hall Impresses In Nashville Victories
Adam Hall helped the Nashville Sounds claim a pair of wins in their double-header at home to the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders in Minor League Baseball yesterday [May 21].
They won the opening encounter 3-0 and second 2-1.
In the opener, Hall, who went 1-2 at the plate, singled on a ground ball to centre field, which advanced Raynel Delgado to second in the third innings.
He then scored the Sounds’ second run when Bobby Dalbec followed up with a line drive single to centre field.
Hall continued his impressive night at the plate in Game two, once again going 1 for 2.
His crucial contribution came in the bottom of the fifth inning with the score 1-1.
Hall hit his second triple of the season, a ground ball that found its way to left field.
Freddy Zamora then stepped up and hit a sacrifice fly to right field, allowing Hall to score the winning run for Nashville.
The Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of the Major League Baseball team, the Milwaukee Brewers, where Bermudian Hall spent part of the pre-season.
