Sailing: International One-Design Continues
The Bermuda International Invitational Race Week Regatta continued on the Great Sound, featuring close racing in the International One-Design [IOD] fleet.
Eight IOD boats are participating in the regatta. After the second day of racing, the standings remain provisional due to the tight competition.
Hannah Vincent of the United States currently leads the fleet with 12 points, having finished fourth and second in the day’s races.
Bermuda’s Bill McNiven has moved into second place with 13 points. McNiven recorded two top-three finishes on the day, placing second and third.
Courtenay Jenkins of the United States and Ted Murphy of Canada are tied for third place with 18 points each.
