Keep pushing for investors in that offshore wind farm! If the PLP thought the new L.F. Wade airport deal was bad, how could any sane person push for offshore wind farm investors? We can only keep our fingers and toes crossed that no company will express interest. Our electricity rates are already the highest in the world.
Say, will Greenrock or any other environmental group in Bermuda submit an expression of interest in building the wind farm? What about Minister Lightbourne or any other Minister? What about RA employees? Come on, show us the money to invest in what you want.
- Several companies, including Ørsted, Equinor, BP, Avangrid, and Shell, have canceled or renegotiated (for more money) contracts for offshore wind farms. (2023 forward)
I still think that more wind is generated in Sessions House than can be found offshore.
Absolutely.
