Softball: Paraquet & Moongate Brewers Win
The Michael Preece Softball Diamond was the venue for a Bermuda softball league doubleheader that produced a total of 55 runs.
In the first game, the Paraquet Flyers defeated the Beach Bums 26-4. Lewis Reynoso led the Paraquet Flyers’ offense, going 4-for-5 with three doubles, one home run, and six runs batted in. Edgar Guerrero contributed three hits in three at-bats, including a double and a home run, driving in five runs. For the Beach Bums, Reid Henderson went 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
The second game saw the Moongate Brewers edge Platano Power 15-10. Terrance Corday led the Moongate Brewers with a 3-for-4 performance, including a double, a home run, and three RBIs. Yaulol Simons matched Corday’s three hits for Platano Power, going 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs.
