Temple Of Tennis Junior Challenger Day Three
The Port Royal Tennis Courts hosted a third consecutive day of competition as the Temple of Tennis Junior Challenger Tournament progressed, featuring numerous promising young tennis players from Bermuda. A full schedule of nine matches unfolded across various age categories.
The Under 14 Girls C Final resulted in a close contest, with Ella Metschnabel ultimately defeating Samantha Morgan 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 in a third-set tie-breaker.
Two matches in the Under 12 Boys Round Robin Division ended early due to an injury sustained by William Leman. James Casling-Hall was awarded a victory over Leman, and Trystan Thompson also received a win in their scheduled match. In other Under 12 Boys’ matches, Ollie Anderson defeated Landon Williams 6-0, 6-0, and James Casling-Hall also secured a victory over Williams 6-0, 6-1.
In the Under 12 Girls Division Semi-Finals, Lee Terceira advanced to the final by defeating Arianna Parra Delgado 6-3, 7-6. Chloe Mcbrearty also reached the final with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Hattie Hughes.
The Under 14 Girls Semi-Finals saw Chloe Mcbrearty defeat Arianna Parra Delgado 6-0, 6-2, and Lee Terceira advance with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Isabella Neururer.
Riley Maybury recorded a 6-2, 6-0 straight-sets win over Jadon Spriggs in the Under 16 Boys Round Robin Division.
The Under 18 Boys Division Final saw Sebastian Pukk defeat Tobiah Goodchild 6-0, 6-1.
