Three Schools To Host Heritage Day Event
Somerset Primary, West End Primary, and Lagoon Park Preschool will be hosting a Heritage Day event on Wednesday [May 21] at Warren Simmons Field.
A spokesperson said, “Somerset Primary, West End Primary and Lagoon Park Preschool are uniting to celebrate our Bermudian Heritage and provide the children with the exciting opportunity to be involved in a mini-marathon and parade. Additionally, each class learned about one former marathon winner or racer dear to their heart of the community. Posters of the prior marathoners will be exhibited during the parade.”
