Betschart Advances To USGA Regional Qualifier
Bermudian golfer Oliver Betschart has advanced to the Regional Qualifier for the USGA U.S. Amateur Championship after a successful outing at KickingBird Golf Club in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Betschart carded a 2-under par 68 in the qualifying round. He recorded four birdies, twelve pars, and two bogeys.
Out of a field of 117 players, 12 achieved scores to make the cut for 11 available spots. Betschart was among five players tied for the final four qualifying positions, necessitating a playoff. He secured his spot in the Regional Qualifier, scheduled for July 14th in San Diego.
