Palanyandi & Burgess Win Monthly Medal
The Bermuda Golf Association hosted its June Monthly Medal at Port Royal Golf Course. Golfers competed across multiple divisions.
Damian Palanyandi won the Men’s 1st Flight Championship with a 7-under par 64. Johnny Bart secured second place with a 2-over par 73. Spencer Wideman finished third with a 3-over par 74.
In the Ladies Division, Tracy Burgess claimed first place with a 7-over par 78. Morgan Lightbourne and Carine Brule tied for second, each finishing one stroke behind Burgess. Burgess, Lightbourne, and Brule recently competed in the Kitty Michael International Invitational in Puerto Rico.
Lewis MacFarlane won the Men’s 2nd Flight Division with an 8-over par 79. Hav Trott placed second after his 10-over par 81. Andrew Wright secured third place with an 11-over par 82.
In the Juniors Division, Fletcher Logie won with a 15-over par 86. Bradford Laing finished second with a 39-over par 110. Oliver James placed third with a 46-over par 117.
