‘Paying It Forward’ Talk Set For June 12
Members of Bermuda’s delegation to the 2025 Women in Leadership conference in Dubai will host a June 12 talk to share key lessons and global insights in the first of a three-part local series.
A Government spokesperson said, “As a follow-up to the Women in Leadership: Living the Dream conference held in Dubai in March 2025, members of Bermuda’s delegation will host the first in a three-part series aimed at sharing key lessons, insights and initiatives inspired by their participation in the global event.
“The talk, entitled, Paying It Forward: Women’s Voices, Global Lessons, will take place on Thursday, June 12 at 12:00 p.m. in the BEDC Training Room, Sofia House, 48 Church Street, Hamilton.
“The lunchtime event will feature opening remarks by the Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors, Tinee Furbert followed by presentations from members of the Bermuda delegation. The presenters will share their personal experiences from the Dubai conference, how their perspectives have evolved and how they are applying global insights to their work in Bermuda.”
Minister Furbert stated, “Bermuda’s growing influence in global leadership conversations is clear. The presence of the Bermuda delegation at the women’s leadership conference in Dubai, underscored that Bermuda has a meaningful voice to contribute to international dialogues around leadership, innovation and impact. The attendees’ experiences and the work they are doing locally as a result of attending the conference are a testament to the value of investing in women and in their leadership development.”
The Government spokesperson said, “The event is open to the public. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Light refreshments will be provided.
