Photos & Video: BZS & BAMZ World Ocean Day
The Bermuda Zoological Society [BZS] and Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo [BAMZ] hosted a World Ocean Open Day yesterday [June 7] to celebrate Bermuda’s marine life through interactive activities, educational talks, and ocean-themed adventures.
A spokesperson previously said, “This event will be a fun-filled celebration of our island’s greatest treasure: the ocean! The day’s events are designed to bring together ocean lovers of all ages for interactive, educational and exciting activities that will spark curiosity and deepen understanding of Bermuda’s marine ecosystems. There will be immersive activities, engaging presentations, and family-friendly fun that will aim to show how everyone can play a role in protecting our blue backyard.”
