This is shocking… a horrific crime like this in the middle of the day and in one of our city parks, which is frequented by many locals and visitors alike.

There is a lot of ‘hanging around’ that happens in this park. I wish that particular ‘hanging around’ was for the enjoyment of the park, but there is a lot of drinking and weed smoking that happens by those who can only be described as just ‘hanging around’.

Probably over a rock ????????. This island is going to the dump

This is not shocking at all . Just walk through there on ANY given afternoon. The drinking, weed smoking, yelling and swearing, it’s a flippin’ gong show. There is no respect for their environment, or other people, or the fact that it’s a beautiful public park that other people might like to sit in and enjoy without having to be subjected to all that $$%%&. They just take over and everyone else tries to diplomatically avoid them. You make them get out of the park and they will just become a problem somewhere else. I have no issue at all with chilling out with your mates, but why the blatant disrespect for everything and everyone else?

They are in Queen Elizabeth Park because they were driven away from places like Number One Dock, Albouy’s Point and Barr’s Park.
