CASA Junior Squash Day Two Results
Bermuda’s squash players competed in day two of the Junior Caribbean Area Squash Association Championships in the Cayman Islands.
In the Boys’ Under-13 Division, top seed Mason Smith advanced to the final after comfortably defeating Bajan Finn Graham in the semi-finals.
In the Under-11 Boys’ Division, William Frith defeated Jonah Every 11-4, 11-1, 11-6 in an all-Bermuda affair.
The Under-19 Boys’ Bracket 2, Trinidad’s Nicholas Lequay edged Bermuda’s Eli Carpol 4-11, 11-4, 11-7, 5-11, 11-8.
He then survived another intense contest, defeating Bermuda’s Andrew Cox 11-6, 8-11, 9-11, 11-6, 14-12.
In the Under-19 Girls Bracket 2 Division, Bermuda’s Tyler Komposch was involved in two back-to-back five-set thrillers.
She first secured a hard-fought win over Bajan Sarrayah Yearwood, triumphing 2-11, 13-11, 7-11, 11-7, 11-9.
However, Komposch was defeated by Jamaica’s Elli Wilson 11-3, 8-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-3.
