Hupman Breaks Two Age Group Records
Bermudian swimmer Connor Hupman recently broke two Bermuda boys 15-16 age group long course records in successive weeks, first in Bermuda and then in the United States.
While competing for Harbour Swim Club at a Harbour Long Course Meet at the National Sports Centre, Hupman set a new record in the 50m butterfly. He finished with a time of 27.81 seconds, surpassing the previous mark of 28.33 held by Elijah Daley.
A week later, swimming for Baylor Swim Club at the TYR Futures meet in Ocala, Florida, Hupman established a new benchmark in the 50m freestyle. His time of 23.88 seconds eclipsed the former record of 24.08, which was held by Finn Moseley.
