Special Olympics Joins Cup Match Event
A group of Special Olympics Bermuda athletes have demonstrated their commitment to community service by participating in the annual Tee’L Annual Pre-Cup Match and Emancipation Day Tea.
Hosted by Terry Lee Smith at Warwick Camp, the event, which is usually held at Somerset Cricket Club, brings joy and connection to the senior community members.
“These athletes deserve recognition for their outstanding representation and contribution to this cherished event,” read a Special Olympics Bermuda social media post.
“A heartfelt thanks is due to Mr Smith for not only hosting this special gathering but also embodying the spirit of ability and inclusion.
“His invitation to the athletes highlights the power of community collaboration.
“Congratulations to everyone involved for making the event a memorable and inclusive celebration!”
