Kaden Hopkins Finishes 26th In Tour Stage
Bermudian cyclist Kaden Hopkins finished 26th in the latest stage of the Tour de Marie-Galante on Friday, completing the 140.8-kilometer course in 3 hours, 36 minutes, and 17 seconds.
Hopkins finished the stage from Capesterre to Grand-Bourg 9 minutes and 46 seconds behind the winner, Rémi Marcoux [Mixte Rayon d'Argent/VC Sandy Ground], who won in a time of 3 hours, 26 minutes, and 31 seconds. Gabin Vedel [Guidon Sprinter Canalien CT] finished second, and Jahkim Carty placed third.
In the general classification, Hopkins now sits 28th overall. His cumulative time is 11 hours, 33 minutes, and 29 seconds.
He trails the overall leader, Benjamin Le Ny, by 29 minutes and 27 seconds. Le Ny’s total time is 11 hours, 4 minutes, and 2 seconds.
