The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is urging all road users to exercise extra caution after recent heavy rainfall caused flooding in some areas and reopened potholes in others.
The Bermuda Police Service posted the photo below online, saying, “The Bermuda Police Service is urging all road users to exercise extra caution following the recent heavy rainfall, which has led to flooding in some areas and caused potholes to reopen in others.
“Motorists are advised to drive with care, particularly when approaching areas where water has accumulated on the roadway.
“These conditions can lead to reduced traction and visibility of hazards.
“Please remain alert, maintain a safe following distance, and reduce your speed.
“Your cooperation can help prevent collisions and keep our roads safer for everyone.”
