Triathletes Place 1st & 2nd In Ironman Divisions
Bermudian triathletes Ashley Couper and Marie-Lyne Dore achieved podium finishes in their respective divisions at the Ironman Lake Placid.
Couper won the female 45-49 age group. She completed the race with an official time of 11 hours, 0 minutes, and 53 seconds. This result placed her as the 46th overall female and 223rd overall competitor.
Also representing Bermuda, Marie-Lyne Dore secured a second-place finish in the female 40-45 age group. Dore crossed the finish line in 10 hours, 27 minutes, and 30 seconds, making her the 29th female finisher and 128th overall participant to complete the course.
