Warwick Firearm Incident Under Investigation

Police are continuing their investigation into a confirmed firearm incident that occurred on July 9 in the St. Mary’s Road area of Warwick, with no reported injuries.

A police spokesperson said, “Detectives continue to investigate a confirmed firearm incident that occurred around 6:50pm Wednesday, 9th July 2025, outside a home in the St. Mary’s Road, Warwick area.

“Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with any witnesses, or members of the public with information, from the Cedar Hill and St. Mary’s Road, Warwick area.

“The suspect, now described as a slim built black male dressed in dark coloured clothing, a dark coloured helmet and visor, was riding a dark coloured scooter.

“Forensic examination of the scene confirmed that a firearm was discharged, but as previously stated, no one was injured.

“Anyone that can assist this investigation is urged to contact Acting Detective Inspector Anneka Donawa on 717-2250 or adonawa@bps.bm.

“Alternatively, members of the public can call the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477, speak with a police officer they know, or use the Bermuda Police Service community reporting portal https://portal.police.bm.”
