Bermuda cricketer Okera Bascome played in Coventry & North Warwickshire First XI’s seven-wicket defeat away to Dorridge First XI in the Birmingham & District Premier League Division Two yesterday [August 25].
Opener Bascome scored 13 runs from ten balls as Coventry & North Warwickshire scored 183 all out from 43.3 overs.
In reply, Dorridge scored 184 for three off 38.2 overs, with wicketkeeper Bascome taking a catch.
Bascome also played in Coventry & North Warwickshire First XI’s 190-run defeat away to Kenilworth Wardens First XI in the league on Saturday.
He opened the batting and scored six, as well as making a stumping.
Bascome impressed in his side’s recent 88-run defeat at home to Kidderminster First XI, scoring 43 off 27 balls. He also took a catch in the match.
