Scott Barnes Wins Titles At Rock Island
Bermudian karting driver Scott Barnes has secured his fourteenth title at the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix – North America’s largest kart street race.
Barnes, competing over two days in the Quad Cities – a metropolitan area straddling the Mississippi River between Illinois and Iowa – claimed victory in the King of the Streets final, the Ignite 100 Masters, Ignite 206 Masters and the Open Shifters today [August 31].
He set the fastest lap in the qualifying race before winning the heat race in the King of the Streets yesterday.
