BELCO Reports 297 Customers Without Power
As of this morning [Aug 22], BELCO is reporting that 297 customers across Bermuda are currently without power due to Hurricane Erin, which passed by the island, bringing strong winds and rain.
According to the outage report, the majority of affected customers are in Hamilton Parish with 237 outages, followed by Devonshire with 37, St. George’s with 11, Paget with 7, Warwick with 4, and Pembroke with 1, while Sandys, Smith’s, and Southampton have no reported outages. The outage map was last updated at 8.53am.
