Hopkins Finishes 34th In Guadeloupe Stage Five
Bermudian cyclist Kaden Hopkins improved his general classification standing by five places after completing the fifth stage of the Tour Cycliste International de la Guadeloupe.
Hopkins, representing Uni Sport Lamentinois, finished the 158.2-kilometer stage from Baie-Mahault to Gourbeyre in 34th place with a time of 4:42:23. The stage was won by Stiven Chaves in 4:20:14.
The result moved Hopkins to 35th in the overall standings. His cumulative time is 18:35:41, placing him 29 minutes and 47 seconds behind the new tour leader, Camilo Ardila Andrés.
