Alex McMartin Earns Combination Title In Brazil
Equestrian Alex McMartin delivered a strong performance at the Global Amateur Tour in Brazil, securing the title of Best Placed Foreign Combination in the Amateur Division of the 1.10/1.15m Championships.
The organizers said, “When Bermuda representative Alex McMartin first signed up for GAT Brazil, she chose the daily training option – keen to soak up the experience without the pressure of competition.
“But with a nudge of encouragement from her coach and fellow competitor Abby Bardgett, Alex took a deep breath, changed course, and entered the ring.
“Fast forward a few days and, alongside her faithful teammate Zeus, Alex delivered something truly special – finishing as the Best Placed Foreign Combination in the Amateur Division of the 1.10/1.15m Championships.”
