Shepherd & Bortoli Compete At USA Nationals
Bermudian triathletes Rory Shepherd and Gianluca Bortoli represented the island at the USA Youth & Junior Nationals at Voice of America Park in Ohio.
Shepherd, competing in the Youth Draft-Legal Male [13-15] Age Group, finished 6th with a total time of 31:29. His splits were a 5:00 swim, a 15:18 bike, and a 9:00 run.
In the Junior Draft-Legal Male [16-19] Division, Gianluca Bortoli finished in 32nd place with a time of 59:25. Bortoli recorded a 10:41 swim, a 29:08 bike, and a 17:26 run.
