PadsPass Launches Digital Pet Passport
PadsPass has officially launched the Digital Pet Passport, an app “designed to simplify the complex world of international pet travel.”
A spokesperson said, “Travelling with pets just got easier. PadsPass, a Bermuda-based start-up, has officially launched the Digital Pet Passport, an innovative app designed to simplify the complex world of international pet travel.
“PadsPass offers four service tiers for microchipped dogs and cats, helping pet parents keep their animals safe, connected, and travel-ready:
- “Pet ID [Free]: Securely stores a pet’s medical records, making it simple to share them with daycares, groomers, sitters, and dog walkers. Searchable by veterinarians, Pet ID also helps reunite lost pets with their families.
- “Digital Pet Passport [DPP]: A smart travel planner for journeys to and from Bermuda, the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada — with more destinations to come. Using verified health records, the DPP automatically filters out locations that don’t permit entry or don’t align with a pet’s travel timeline. Subscribers receive access to customer support channels, live webinars, and other resources. At $250 annually, one account can support two pet parents and up to five pets. For travellers to Bermuda and Puerto Rico, the DPP also generates error-proof health certificates.
- “Furever Plan: A one-time payment of $999 provides lifetime access to the benefits of the DPP, giving pet parents peace of mind without annual renewals. This is a limited offer.
- “VIPP [Very Important Pet Parent]: A “white paw” upgrade to the DPP subscription. At $750 annually, members receive all DPP benefits plus access to PadsPass veterinarians for telehealth travel advice and premium concierge-style assistance — ensuring every vaccine, form, and requirement is 100% in place, whether travelling to New York or London, England.
“The platform provides up-to-date guidance on government and airline regulations, vaccination requirements, and documentation — all tailored to each pet’s specific journey. With PadsPass, travellers can avoid last-minute surprises at the airport and ensure their pets’ trips are as stress-free as possible.”
“Pets are part of the family, and travel shouldn’t be overwhelming or risky for them,” said Lauren Anders Brown, PadsPass founder and CEO. “Our goal is to give owners peace of mind by providing reliable information and resources that make traveling with their pets safer and simpler.”
A spokesperson added, “PadsPass was inspired by Pads, Ms. Brown’s beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, whose travels revealed just how complicated — and stressful — the process can be for pet owners.
“With the launch, PadsPass is inviting pet parents, veterinarians, and travel industry partners to explore the platform and help shape the future of pet travel — one that is furry, friendly, and stress-free.
“PadsPass is now available for download in the Apple App Store [Google Play coming soon]. For more information, visit www.padspass.com.”
