Motorcycle racer Jediah Cumbermack has reflected on his impressive performances racing at Donington Park in Leicestershire at the weekend.

Cumbermack, who represents the British development team Rokit Rookies in the AJN Steelstock Limited Kawasaki British Superteen Championship, finished race one in tenth and race two in sixth position.

The championship is open to riders aged 14 to 21.

“What a last outing at Donington Park I had,” Cumbermack said.

“I finished race one in P10 after some mishaps, but I was overall pleased with my performance.

“In race two, I started sixth on the grid due to me achieving the sixth fastest lap in race one.

“I had a decent start to the second race battling for the podium in the early stages.

“Unfortunately, I made contact with another rider resulting in me getting a long lap penalty.

“I was not too pleased with this as I thought it was just a race incident.

“Although I got a long lap, I finished in a strong sixth position.

“Lastly, I want to say thanks to my team and sponsors as they always provide the best quality of help.

“I would also like to give a big shout out to my family for making this happen.”
