Jamin Hodgkins Helps Pride Claim Victory

Bermudian rugby union player Jamin Hodgkins helped the Pacific Pride Academy defeat Fraser Valley 76-0 in an exhibition match at the Abbotsford Exhibition Park.

Fly-half Hodgkins entered the match in the second half and kicked three conversions [six points].

The Academy compete in the British Columbia Men’s Premier League, a provincial competition featuring 12 clubs from British Columbia and one from Washington state.

Hodgkins, who is eligible for Canada, represented the Pride last season and has previously played for Luctonians First XV in England and Bridgend and Glamorgan Wanderers in Wales.

The former Bermuda Under-19 international and Warwick Academy student currently plays for Halifax Tars, an amateur team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
