Two Vehicle Collision In Warwick
A collision involving two cars occurred near the entrance to Price Rite on Middle Road, Warwick.
A police spokesperson said, “There has been a road traffic collision involving two motorcars, near the entrance to Price Rite on Middle Road, Warwick.
“The roadway is currently blocked.
“Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to get to their destinations.
“Traffic is being diverted along Camp Road and Burnt House Hill. Good evening all.
“There has been a road traffic collision involving two motorcars, near the entrance to Price Rite on Middle Road, Warwick.
“The roadway is currently blocked.
“Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to get to their destinations.
“Traffic is being diverted along Camp Road and Burnt House Hill.”
Update: A police spokesperson said, “The roadway has now been reopened to regular traffic flow.”

how many accidents and road injuries or deaths have been due to potholes and uneven surfaces on government roads? and the people have to pay the price with insurance premiums going up as a result? everyone is quick to blame speed, its the cheap easy scapegoat. i cannot count the number of times I have almost died hitting a lethal pothole. and we have tourists riding our roads too…
Every single day I see absolute stupidity, ignoring rules of the road and near misses. I walk every morning and it has become Russian roulette if I get home in one piece. Today a car was parked outside D&C grill at Devils Hole. Traffic heading East waited for westbound traffic to go through. Car going East left the Zebra crossing clear so my husband cautiously stepped on.the crossing and looked to see if it was clear to cross. A car and a van drove through despite seeing my husband on.the crossing as they approached. I was right behind him and out of nowhere a bike was heading straight for me…he wobbled all over the place and how he missed me I will never know…didnt slow down and sped on his way. If he had hit me I would be dead for sure…its a crossing and people are crossing!! Knapton Hill, Harrington Sound from Devil’s Hole and South shore are ridiculous. Its years since Traffic Police have been seen there…
What do you expect? The police stopped enforcing traffic laws about 20 years ago. Riders and drivers have nothing to fear.
