Tomorrow’s Voices Bermuda is marking its 18th anniversary with two fall fundraisers, including the return of its popular “Move Your Feet for Autism” 5K Family Walk on October 26.

A spokesperson said, “In celebration of 18 years of dedicated service to the community, Tomorrow’s Voices Bermuda’s Autism Early Intervention Centre is proud to announce two exciting fall fundraisers, including the much-anticipated 3rd Annual “Move Your Feet for Autism” 5K Family Walk, taking place during the charity’s anniversary month of October.

“This family-friendly event will be held on Sunday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m., starting from the Tomorrow’s Voices headquarters at the TN Tatem Middle School facility in Warwick. Participants can choose between the full 5K route or a gentler lap course around the school field, perfect for families with young children or those needing a more accessible option. A virtual participation option is also available, allowing supporters from near and far to join the movement.”

“Over the last two years, hundreds of community members have come together to support this walk and raise awareness for autism,” said Thea Furbert, Tomorrow’s Voices co-founder and Board Chair. “We’re thrilled to bring the event back for a third year and make it our biggest and best yet.”

A spokesperson added, “Registration is now open at RaceDayWorld.com. Fees are $30 for adults, $15 for children ages 6 to 16, and free for children 5 and under. Thanks to the generous support of A.F. Smith Ltd., prizes will be awarded to the top individual fundraisers in both the adult and children’s categories. Plus, any registered participant who raises $100 or more will be entered into a special prize draw.

“Following the walk, families can enjoy a lively afternoon of activities on the grounds of T.N. Tatem, including fun castles, music by DJ Fury, vendor stalls and the Tomorrow’s Voices information booth, which will offer autism awareness merchandise for sale.”

“This event is a celebration of our community’s support and Tomorrow’s Voices’ mission to enrich the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities,” Ms Furbert added.

A spokesperson added, “This event would not be possible without the support of our community partners. Tomorrow’s Voices extends heartfelt thanks to its sponsors who make this event possible including Diamond Sponsor: SiriusPoint, Silver Sponsor: D&J Construction Ltd, and Supporting Sponsors: A.F. Smith Ltd., Island Nutrition, MadeMovement, Funtyme Entertainment and DJ Fury.

“Keep an eye out for other upcoming events including Tomorrow’s Voices 7th Annual Great Sip & Paint for Autism, which will take place on Sunday, November 9.
