Winds south-southeasterly light to moderate, increasing southeasterly moderate to strong in the afternoon, rapidly increasing gale force to storm force with gusts to hurricane force by evening and then southerly storm force to hurricane force with gusts to hurricane force, especially in exposed/elevated areas, veering southwesterly to west-southwesterly late night. High near 27°C/81°F, low near 24°C/76°F. Clear sky UV Index forecast – 5 or moderate.”
