Temporary Lane Closures On Parson’s Road
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised of “amended dates for ongoing temporary rolling lane closures on Parson’s Road in Pembroke Parish, to accommodate the installation of three elevated crosswalks.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The road works are now scheduled to continue through to Friday, 7 November 2025, and had been delayed due to Hurricane Melissa and periods of inclement weather.
“Lane closures will take place between Two Way Mews and Field View Lane on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with traffic controls in place using cones and “Stop/Go” signage.
“The crosswalks are being installed near:
- Social Cycles Bermuda
- Pembroke Park bus laybys
- Just west of the Glebe Road junction
“These elevated pedestrian crossings are designed to enhance safety and reduce vehicle speeds.
“Motorists are advised to proceed with caution, expect delays, and consider alternate routes via Marsh Folly Road or Happy Valley Road.”
