Bermuda Teams Compete In 2025 RAN Sevens

The 2025 Rugby Americas North [RAN] Sevens tournament began in Trinidad, with the Bermuda women’s team securing a victory while the men’s squad lost both their matches on the opening day.

The Bermuda women’s team recorded a 22-5 win over Barbados in their first match. Najée Pitt-Clarke led the scoring, recording two tries in the first half to give Bermuda a 12-5 advantage at the break.

Apryl Jackson added a try in the second half to extend the lead to 17-5 before Pitt-Clarke completed her hat-trick with a third try to finalize the score at 22-5.

In their second match, the women’s team lost 29-0 to the host nation, Trinidad and Tobago.

The Bermuda men’s team opened their campaign with a match against Mexico, falling 15-0. They subsequently faced the defending champions Canada, who defeated the Bermudian side 34-0.
