Equestrian Kayla Bardgett Wins Open Flat Class
Bermudian equestrian Kayla Bardgett won the Open Flat Class, helping the Savannah College of Art and Design [SCAD] equestrian team achieve a perfect score at its first home IHSA Regular Season Event.
The SCAD team was named Champion after accumulating 49 points. The University of Central Florida was named Reserve Champion with 34 points.
Bardgett’s victory in the Open Flat Class contributed to the team’s overall point total.
In the final team standings, Stetson University and the University of South Florida tied for third place with 27 points. Florida State University finished fifth with 26 points.
