Mbelenzi And Dore Win Hannover Half Marathon
Dennis Mbelenzi and Marie Dore won the male and female titles at the 2025 Hannover Re Half Marathon.
Mbelenzi finished the men’s race in 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 14 seconds [1:12:14], more than four and a half minutes ahead of second-place Sean Trott, who finished in 1:16:49. Kallan Richardson placed third with a time of 1:19:22.
In the women’s race, Dore crossed the line eighth overall in 1:31:21 to claim the championship. Teresa Ruiz finished second among women, ninth overall, in 1:31:59, 38 seconds behind Dore. Stepanka Sprincova was third in the women’s category, 16th overall, finishing in 1:37:22.
